About CAID The organization for all teachers, administrators, educational interpreters, residential personnel, and other concerned professionals involved in education of the deaf. A resource for classroom teachers A clearing house for information on deafness A forum for educational developments and research findings in the field The publisher of American Annals of the Deaf, the oldest educational journal in the United States and a major resource to the profession. Mission The mission of the Council of the American Instructors of the Deaf, Incorporated is to focus on an organization of teachers and other education related personnel to promote student learning and development by bringing together local, state, regional and national interest organizations.
