After the previous four procurement 
events     
of chemical fiber products in Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces 
(March 2005, March 2006, March 2007, March 2008), China Chemical Fibers 
Association Information Center joined the effort 
organizing 2010 China (Shanghai) International New Fiber 
Materials and New Chemical Fiber Technology Exhibition 
(15-17 September 2010). Some     
of the participating manufacturers have established strategic partnerships with visiting 
representatives;   
support service for the sourcing of rare fiber has been 
enabled since The Third International Chemical Fiber   
Products Procurement Fair (Cixi, China, March 26-29th, 2007).  
With the enormous efforts in the 
past few decades, China has become the biggest chemical fiber producer     
in the current world. The chemical fiber Industry of China has     
developed rapidly since 1986, which has ensured the     
fulfillment of the increasing demand by the     
textile industry. In 2005, the turnover of chemical fiber is     
16,290,000 tons, 62% of Chinese total fiber manufacturing     
turnover. The chemical fiber proportion in the world has     
increased from 20.5% in 2000 to the current 40%. The     
demand-supply conflict increases following the dramatic development of chemical fiber   
industry as well as the reshaped textile industry of the 
current world.     
However, some previous chemical fiber manufacturers of the   
world are quitting     
gradually from this industry, while the demand for chemical     
fiber is growing gigantically over South Asia, South America     
and the Middle East. Based on the three purchase /procurement meetings     
of chemical fiber in China, China Chemical Fibers Association will     
extend the range of service into a more regularized, strategic and   
integrated support, especially on special fiber   
products. 
China Chemical Fibers Association is intended   
to play an important role for the internationalization of Chinese chemical fiber   
industry, along with the globalization of China economy.
