Welcome to Micks Pine Barrens
Canoe and Kayak Rental
Paddle kayaks or canoes through the Wharton State Forest Pine 
Barrens in New Jersey. With it's natural beauty and gentle waters, 
everyone in your group can enjoy this day. Be sure to have a camera 
ready as you drift by remnants of Colonial settlers, towering Pitch 
Pines and beaver dams. Relax, picnic or swim along one of the many 
beaches. We invite you to hang out in our backyard and discover 
all of this for yourself. Micks is the closest
livery to the Wading and Oswego Rivers, providing fast, courteous 
and inexpensive rental services in the Pinelands.
Browsing through our pages can answer some questions about canoeing 
and kayaking, average trip times and useful information about the 
rivers and forests.Photos and movies of each trail, instructional 
videos, maps and more are available.
About Your Trip
When you arrive, just park your car and grab the gear. Register 
for trips inside the store, then head out to the bus stop sign by 
the picnic tables. In a few minutes a bus will arrive loaded with 
equipment for your trip. Hop aboard as we take a short ride through 
the forest to your starting point. Have a safe journey. We'll already 
be there at your destination to pick you up and return to Micks.
Pine Barrens Customers
Pine Barrens Canoe Rental after 32 years of operation has 
joined up with Micks Canoe Rental. You will receive the outstanding 
customer service and dedication that you are accustomed to receiving 
in the past. Micks is just 1½ miles south on Route 563 
from the Pine Barrens store. We are able to accommodate any 
size group. You can contact us at the same phone numbers.

generous discounts when you bring your friends to Micks.

All boats must be on the beach by or before 
5:00 p.m.
Open daily from April through September
October Hours
Saturday / Sunday     
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Large groups may schedule trips Monday through Friday.
