Periodic news concerning Kingdom living will be posted here.  At present we are focused on the biblical promises of God and how they impact our Christian mindset and beliefs.
For example, we learn by Romans 1:16-17 that through our belief in Jesus Christ, we have been promised – indeed gifted – “salvation”.
Romans 1:16-17 – The gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ; the gift of righteousness comes through faith in him and not through human effort.
Salvation – it is the opinion of this writer that all created things are subject to beginnings, endings and transfiguration’s.  It is the nature of the soul (essence) of a person to be subject to these things as well.  Salvation is the gift of God to a person who has come into fellowship or union with God (by Jesus).   Through the work of Jesus, this person is delivered from spiritual mistakes and consequences that come from the original error of disbelieving God.  Jesus main work provided atonement (a pathway) and correction of that error and brings his followers back into right standing with God.  In so doing, a person avoids the destruction of a their soul (essence).  As a result, the eternal soul of a person can flourish (intact) all of the beginnings, endings and transfiguration’s that naturally occur in a life eternal.
Mindset – once salvation is realized, there can be a great awakening of the soul that reveals rewards to a person who begins to understand Gods love in Christ.  For example:
 That person can begin to see the ever expanding value of the eternal nature of their existence.
That person can walk in life with great courage to bring forth and nurture the eternal values of peace, love and prosperity for humankind and themselves.
That person acquires access to the power of love which cannot be defeated.
That person becomes a force for progress and opportunities for others to capture eternity through the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
That person becomes humbled by the awesome love that God has extended to us through the work of His Son Jesus.
Application – as Christians, we are to show forth a pattern of good works (Titus 2:7).  Sometimes our works are well known, sometimes not and this does not matter because in God we live, move and have our being (Acts 17:28).
