APS/ SF Accessible Pedestrain Signals in San Francisco June, 2010 Accessible Pedestrian Signals are at intersections that have "Walk/ Don't Walk" signs for pedestrians. They add audible information for pedestrians who are blind or have low vision. This study includes many APS sites from the foot of Market Street at the Ferry building to City Hall on Van Ness Avenue. Use the map controls in the upper left to zoom in or out, and move around. Click on a map icon, below, get see details at each location. The exact sidewalk location of each APS unit is immediately below the bottom of the icon. Marker Colors: Yellow. Functioning. Blue. At least one key feature not practically usable. Red.
