Home Research E-Learning Lounge Photography Clients Contact Home Page Student Login Welcome to my site Fule.at is my personal website. The domain name derives from my Chinese name. I have lived and worked in Taiwan, South Korea, Mongolia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam for over ten years. My research interests embrace Asian politics, society and economy. Since 2002, I have been with the Department of International Trade and Global Logistics at the Overseas Chinese University (Taiwan). In 2002, I received a permanent teaching license from the Ministry of Education (MOE), Taiwan. In 2005, the MOE approved my promotion to Associate Professor of (Political) Marketing. During the academic year 2010/2011, I was on sabbatical leave and a visiting fellow at the Institute of Social and Societal Policies, Johannes Kepler University of Linz, Austria. About this site My website should assist my students in obtaining a better understanding of East Asian marketing, politics and society. This academic year, I offer six online courses dealing with marketing and politics in East Asia. All courses offered reflect real-world situations and tend to be critcal of the over-simplified interpretations, usually found in textbooks and academic journals at institutions of higher education around the world. Khmer Anti-Poverty Party On 29 November 2011, the Khmer Anti-Poverty Party convened its National Party Convention in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I was invited to give a speech on the necessity of further democratic development in Cambodia, and the important role the party and its charismatic leader, Daran Kravanh, would play in that developmental process. Click here for larger pics National Party Convention Khmer Anti-Poverty Party, Cambodia Salzburg Biennale The Salzburg Biennale is a festival for contemporary music held each weekend in March. In 2011, the festival took place for the second time. I was offered the unique opportunity to work as an official art photographer at the festival, which I much enjoyed. I was invited to give a lecture on the application of modern political marketing and to help design the party's electoral campaign strategy. Daran Kravanh is determined to run in the 2013 national election in Cambodia and become the country's new prime minister.
