I quit my job.  Finally pursuing Gaming as a Profession.

I had a mid life crisis a few months back and dropped everything in my entire life to pursue an amazing career opportunity with Panera Bread that was leading to a regional/district promotion.  But I wasn’t happy.
All I ever wanted to do was pursue gaming as a profession.  But I failed because I always worked nights, which is entirely counterproductive.  So now I’m self-employed pursuing this as my entire focus.
I saved up enough money to keep out of a day job for a while.  Long enough to deeply immerse myself into GW2 and master (hopefully) a large part of the game and the PvP.  And after a while I’ll get a day job to supplement myself until I can do this professionally full time.
I’ll be spending the next few days doing some hardcore research to get myself caught back up on things since I’ve been out of the loop.  And I will be posting further details, changing the graphics on the website, and getting all of the streaming and video information squared away for you guys.
Even if I fail to make a career out of this, at least I’ll have finally pursued my dreams seriously for the first time in my life.  No regrets right?

Update on Things

3 months ago I weighed 260 lbs.  I now weigh 215 lbs.  I said I needed to make some changes in my life and this time I’m following through with them.
The new job is an “experience” to say the least.  It’s been really rough, but then I’ve changed to a career that I had zero experience in while also dealing with all of the hurdles that my company wasn’t even anticipating coming into this new market.
And as far as games, I’m mostly dabbling with League of Legends (LOL) these days.  Though I will probably be purchasing Orcs Must Die 2 in the next few hours and be playing Guild Wars 2 in the future as well.
I’ve been trying to acknowledge my shortcomings and deal with how they affect my life and the readers who do come here.  They are long and varied, and I’m sorry for any and all disappointments.
SWTOR was a mistake for me.  The PvP, the storylines, and the Star Wars fanboism made me look past the fact that SWTOR was just a WoW clone.  Which lead me to inev
