UK. The car has a ladder frame chassis, with a TR3 tuned engine and overdrive gearbox, rear axle comes from a Ford Mk11 Consul (1960). Only one Thunderbolt left the factory and this is the sole surviving model. This car was rebuilt by the original factory works driver and foreman Eric Martin. Eric worked for the company until it shut down in 1963, whereupon the car was given to him a leaving present from the company. Eric was reacquainted with the car in early 2001, bought it and has now finished restoring it. Not bad for someone in there
