Profile Hunan Jewel, began to focus on zinc products from 1985, unites with College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Hunan University, supported technologically by more than 20 skilled technologists and several professors, has three factories around Shuikoushan-the fourth largest lead/zinc mine of China, moved headquarters to Changsha which is provincial capital of Hunan and one of famous inner harbour in China. Factories Hengyang plant: zinc sulphate monohydrate 1000MTS,zinc sulphate heptahydrate 1000MTS. Xiangtan plant: zinc carbonate basic 1000MTS. Zhuzhou plant: zinc oxide active 800MTS, transparent zinc carbonate 500MTS. Yueyang plant: zinc oxide active 600MTS. Jiujiang plant: zinc chloride 1000MTS. Growth history 1985: set up zinc sulphate producing lines in Hengyang, Hunan, China. 1997: established zinc carbonate factory in Xiangtan, Hunan, China. 2001: mass production of soda ash process zinc oxide starts in Zhuzhou, Hunan, China. 2002: set up transparent zinc oxide(transparent zinc carbonate) producing lines in Zhuzhou, Hunan, China 2006: launched project of active zinc oxide with ammonia ash technology in Yueyang, Hunan, China 2007: invested zinc chloride project in Jiujiang, Jiangxi, China 2011: Headquarters moved to Changsha,Hunan,China, named Hunan Jewel New Materials and Technology Co.,Ltd.
