Following definition is from wikipedia:In probability theory, the central limit theorem (CLT) states that, given certain conditions, the mean of a sufficiently large number of independent random variables, each with a well-defined mean and well-defined variance, will be approximately normally distributed. The central limit theorem has a number of variants. In its common form, the random variables must be identically distributed. In variants, convergence of the mean to the normal distribution also occurs for non-identical distributions, given that they comply with certain conditions. Here is the Youtube video maybe useful for reference:Kehan Academy Central Limit Theorem:Introduction to the Central Limit TheoremCentral Limit Theorem Part 1Demonstrating the Central Limit TheoremCentral limit theoremCentral Limit TheoremPosted by 52nlpPosted in Mathematics, Open Course|Tagged Central limit theorem, CLT, Kehan Academy, Open Course, Statistics|Leave a comment100 Days Streak on CodecademyPosted on June 4, 2013 by 52nlpI have made a “1 year plan on Codecademy” and now it’s 100 days streak on Codecademy for me:Posted by 52nlpPosted in Open Course|Tagged Codecademy|Leave a commentNLTK Related Slides from SlideSharePosted on May 30, 2013 by 52nlpAfter launched CourseGraph which wrote by Python Flask, I met some nlp problems for English text processing and it’s time to find some Python NLP Open Solutions. And certainly NLTK is the first choice. Following is from Wikipedia:The Natural Language Toolkit, or more commonly NLTK, is a suite of libraries and programs for symbolic and statistical natural language processing (NLP) for the Python programming language. NLTK includes graphical demonstrations and sample data. It is accompanied by a book that explains the underlying concepts behind the language processing tasks supported by the toolkit, plus a cookbook.Continue reading →Posted in NLP, NLTK|Tagged Flask, Natural Language Toolkit, NLTK, NLTK Made Easy, NLTK Notes, NLTK Slides, python, Python Flask, Python NLTK, SlideShare|Leave a commentEmpirical Rule or 68–95–99.7 Rule or Three-sigma RulePosted on May 20, 2013 by 52nlpI met the Empirical Rule concept in Kehan Academy, and after googl
