The first pages were made completely from scratch using notepad and some html references. Then flash was a big hit till we discovered perl and then like a drug we became addicted to php and MySQL. Now, we're on the freeloading train piggy backed on google. Our content has never been much, but the technology we use to implement our crap always evolves. Why did we go google? Google apps has been offerred for sometime and the idea seemed a bit far off for us. The cpanel of a paid web hosting account was just so powerful with its complementary shell service and stuff, that the change was really a reluctant one at first. Then the news of google to limit its network users from 50 caught our attention. Better sign up and get those free 50 accounts before we have to pay for them! So www.8ing.com dropped its host like a hot potato and fully embraced google like a sexy play thing. Where can I get some? The reason for the 8ing name wasn't to rip off some japanese game developer. We actually love them for their stuff. We got the name for its subdomain potential. If we wanted to run a site named, illustr.8ing.com or impregn.8ing.com or coordin.8ing.com and the likes we could.
