G. White. Purpose The E. A. Sutherland Education Association was developed by The Layman Foundation (TLF) to assist independently operated, self-supporting schools of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the areas of school improvement, teacher certification, accreditation, curriculum, vocational training, staff development and resource development. EASEA provides a structure for administrators, educational staff, students and supporters to network, share resources and find support in preserving Seventh-day Adventist beliefs, values and practices as portrayed in the Bible and writings of E. G. White. EASEA encourages its members to implement the ideals of the Madison Model of Education, which includes training individuals to carry the good news of Jesus Christ to the world as their first priority and secondly to be self-supporting.
