I often spend so much time working on emails and spreadsheets that I just get tired but thanks so much for praying for my health and recovery. I am still having some edema in my left leg but at times it goes away completely. I am still on blood thinners and have a monthly test to do next Tuesday in Kampala. Thanks again for praying and helping us share Christ – Who is our hope. Praise God for His mercy and grace to us all! We are truly “blessed” as Paul explains in Ephesians 1 but often we don’t see our lives that way. We forget the reality of what Christ has done for us – the life – the price paid. New comforts for our lives bring rejoicing almost as much as complaining – or as we say it here – “crying about” challenges that make our lives less comfortable. For you all it may be a microwave that lasted a week past the warranty period or a cool new cell phone that just can’t keep the battery for a day. For us it is electric company shutting off power while we are trying to watch a soccer game on t.v. or that we don’t have enough money to buy sugar for our tea. Whatever it is has distracted us from the indescribable priceless treasure we have in Christ. Isaiah 6. They all came and greeted me and some hugged – the ones who were wet from walking in the rain were afraid to hug me not wanting to get me wet but I hugged them anyway – they laughed ! I took a picture of their playground = needs lots of dump truck loads of dirt to raise the ground level so the water will run off. We then walked through the puddles of water outside the compound to the back of our kids house. When we planned the children’s house we based the space on 100 kids but now we have 125 of our 140 children staying with us. One of our neighbors is selling a plot of land that connects to the back of the children’s house for $3,500 and has a road directly to it! It is 50′ x 100′ like the children’s house but goes across the back – adjacent but perpendicular to us extending behind another neighbors lot next door to us that we also hope to purchase one day. I went there and took a picture. Then I got a phone cal
