Humble Hearts for Hope, Inc. provides support for our deployed military troops and their dependent families in need who currently reside in Northampton, Lehigh, Luzerne and Monroe Counties in Pennsylvania. New locations will be added to our service area as we are requested to serve other families located in Pennsylvania or nationwide. Our organization is committed to raising strong community awareness for the need to support our deployed military troops and providing support for their families in their times of need. We have no intention of denying a soldier or their families reasonable requests within our financial guidelines but we work within our means.* Currently assisted over 120 local deployed soldiers in two units along with individual soldiers by request. Previously adopted the 378th Battalion from Ft. Indian Town Gap, PA Humble Hearts for Hope was established exclusively as a non-profit organization for purposes under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.We intend to help others by joining in a loving, accepting, cooperative relationship to help support our local military troops and their families in their time of need.Through our outreach services, we serve people who are experiencing a family crisis that requires an approach that instills confidentiality, self-respect, dignity and self sufficiency, so that the families and the communities are strengthened. We go beyond the workshop to provide encouragement as we help them rebuild their lives and grow into healthy individuals and families. We will assist with financial hardships, provide holiday meals, provide for the children of the military, collect coats for veterans and send care packages to our deployed military troops actively serving for our freedom. We intend to educate the community on these issues. In addition to providing physical resources, we wish to provide friendship and to treat others as we wish to be treated. We are committed to finding and applying long-range, real solutions to individual people in need and to the community as a whole. We are committed to do this to support our military families and local families in crisis. We HOPE to provide additional “medical and counseling” services in the future after receiving the appropriate support from our local community businesses.* Application process applies to all financial assistance requests.All approved tax-deductible donations will receive a proper donation letter or receipt from our organization. Due to the event size in which we are collecting at times, a letter may be issued after the event has ended. If you do not supply a receipt with an amount on any “newly purchased” item donated than you will be required to check with your accountant or the IRS Rulings for proper determination of the value of your donation.
