Please remain alert to your surroundings, do not leave valuables visible and notify the office of any unusual activity on Horse Park grounds!2015 Cross-Country Maintenance ScheduleDrought Prevention Measures Being Taken at The Horse Park After three consecutive years of below-normal rainfall, California faces its most severe drought emergency in decades. California Governor, Jerry Brown, has called for its residents to reduce water usage by 20 percent voluntarily.In light of this call to action, and in accordance with our dedication to land stewardship, the Horse Park will be taking the following steps to reduce/conserve our water usage:Scheduling and limiting the amount of water utilized on arenas and driveways.Ensuring that all water fixtures are working properly and are not leaking.Adding shut-off nozzles to hoses in wash racks and throughout the facility.Evaluating roof run-off collection.Adding automatic waterers to pastures.Limit available arenas during "low traffic" periods/days to reduce water utilized for arena maintenance.Evaluate recycling the water emptied from the stall water buckets for landscaping use.Evaluate products and methods used to reduce erosion and lessen dust by using less water.In addition, the Horse Park is asking all boarders, members and trainers to join our efforts, on a voluntarily basis (to start), in order to conserve w
