Jeans are my go to when it comes to chic and comfortable style!
I recently gave OK! Magazine my fresh for fall tips when it comes to denim.
While you may think you have to shell out the dough when it comes to jeans, it’s less about price and more about fearless fit.
My rule of thumb is, if they make you feel sexy then you’ve found the perfect pair!

That’s Not Cool: Saying No to Nude

As a parent, I know what it’s like to be a protective mama bear.
Being a mother of two girls who are approaching their teen years and using personal technology more and more in their life has made me more aware of the importance of cyber safety among youth.
I want to make sure that my girls and young girls everywhere never have to deal with being harassed online for nude photos.
That’s why I love the website That’s Not Cool. The site brings to light the importance of cyber safety and gives good examples of how to tell people no if they ask for inappropriate pictures.
It’s important for girls to be able to say no and mean it and without feeling guilty  about it.
Here are some of my favorite excuses or reasons of why you won’t send nude pics of yourself:
Pressure gives me hives.
Under my clothes, I’m a robot.
Hold on, let me ask my mom.
Sorry, my webcam is broken.
I’m worried they’ll get passed around school.
Unfortunately, I just had my clothes surgically attached to my body.
If they got out, I might never be President.
I’m already naked, under my clothes.
Not even if you were all three Jonas Brothers.
I have a rash.
I have nude-aphobia.
I have lizard skin.
The more you ask, the less I want to.
You’re not the boss of me.

I recently did a guest editorial piece for OK! Magazine where I talked about a girl’s best friend.
No, not diamonds…though I’m all for a little sparkle here and there.
