Thanks to the willingness of my friend Masao to volunteer his time and car, we were able to capture some pretty cool night shots.I used an external suction cup mount paired with a small sony ball joint to mount the camera on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Even though the mount is extremely secure, I used my Lance Camera Strap attached to the car as a safety tether in case the mount failed. This tether could also help against theft, but in Tokyo that is not really an issue. While Masao drove, I sat in the passenger seat remotely controlling the camera over wifi using Fuji’s iPhone application. It worked flawlessly never dropping the connection and allowing me to not only change camera settings on the fly, but to also see a live feed from the camera. It was a pretty cool outing and I’ve picked up more than a few nice shots. I will definitely put this rig to work again in the future when I am back in Utah for a different style of shots.January 19, 2015 at 8:22 am by Rich Legg | Categories: PostCruising GinzaComments OffFUJIFILM X-T1, FUJINON 10-24 f/4IS lens – 1/20 second, f/4.5, ISO 3200January 17, 2015 at 11:58 pm by Rich Legg | Categories: PostTonight in ShibuyaComments OffFUJIFILM X-T1, FUJINON 10-24 f/4IS lens – 1/60 second, f/4.5, ISO 3200January 13, 2015 at 10:08 am by Rich Legg | Categories: PostJapanese TutorComments OffFUJIFILM X-T1, FUJINON 50-140 f/2.8 lens – 1/180 second, f/2.8, ISO 200January 12, 2015 at 9:19 am by Rich Legg | Categories: Post← Older postsLeggNet’s Digital CaptureThe Photographic Journal of Rich LeggRICH LEGGSalt Lake City, UtahI'm a photographer working in Salt Lake City, Utah.
