I’m sorry about this and should have tested Water before I ever did anything. Though, some things done might not be too appreciative; I’ve removed a few options and made changes to better fit WordPress 2.7 (or maybe 2.8) and above. Plus, I’ve made a bunch of improvements to the theme so that the speed is slightly increased (though I can’t ensure that it is increased).
Water 1.6
Improvements:
All files related to posts/pages are about 3-4 lines; most content is evaluated in the inc/posts.php instead.
wp_title() displays the blog’s title without the use of excessive if-statements.
Author page looks better as it is more organized and takes up more room from the post content.
The tag cloud does not need a custom function anymore.
A few repetitive functions (or really, unneeded functions) were removed.
Trackbacks/Pingbacks are now separate from the comments
An image is used to show the tags in a post instead of the text “Tags:”

Removed Features:
Ability to hide Gravatars
Removing the Top Menu tabs require you to leave the title of it empty.
Coloring Track/Pingbacks has been removed as it’s just a list now.
The >> for the sidebar’s icon has been reverted to using text and not images; it’s faster that way anyways.
Theme Info page has been removed along with any content that was affiliated with it; WordPress said having JS loaded from an external site was dangerous.
Having two types of how the post time and total comments are displayed has been removed; it’s an old feature and really is not needed.

New Features:
Threaded Comments now work visavi to WordPress’ default settings and not the plugin.
Similar to above, paged comments has also been “added”
Tags of your blog/post wil
