About Us
FreeCamp is designed to provide the traveler with the tools needed to easily find somewhere to stay whilst traveling around Australia, which is Cost Effective, or even Free. The idea is to use an App rather than lugging numerous large books around that are heavy and hard to read.
I have been on the road, on and off, for more than 50 years, throughout Australia and it has shown me what a great country we live in and the sheer magnificence that is Australia.
In my travels I have carried a plethora of books to aid me in finding that elusive spec of gold where I may be able to lay my head for the night. How much time I have wasted in looking through these books and yet, still not finding the place I desired to stay.
Now FreeCamp offers you the ability to use your smart phone or tablet to find the elusive place to stay.
