The Perceptual Test Scoring Service is an Internet based service that converts the perceptual raw scores for your patients into scored results.
Traditional scoring of perceptual test requires an individual to use multiple tables, complete a variety of calculations and to record the result.
The process is generally timely and even for the most careful, a possible source of error.
With the Perceptual Test Scoring Service the are NO tables, No calculations to be completed.
Raw data from the administered test is entered on the Internet then processed.
For each patient, the workbook produces a:
--detailed results sheet for each test scored.
--summary report for all test submitted
The service is:
--easy,
--accurate,
--secure
Using the scoring service saves vision therapy providers time and money.
Depending on the individual OD's test battery, it can take as much as 45 minutes or more per patient to score visual perceptual test results.
Once submitted on the Internet, raw perceptual test data will be calculated into final test results and returned generally within 3 minutes of submitting the data.
In OEP's on going efforts to provide innovative services, arrangements have been made for OEP members to participate in the beta testing of the VT Perceptual Test Scoring Service.
The open use of the service will be available to members from September 20, 2010 through November 30, 2010 without charge.
