THC privately demonstrated in 2009/2010 how the vodafone femto cell can be turned into a device to intercept UMTS traffic (as in 'listening to your neighbours without them knowing') and attacking the vodafone backend network (It's open like a swiss cheese!). We also were the first to broadcast a UK Vodafone network near the Eiffel Tower and routing back holiday makers into the vodafone core network. Fuck roaming charges!
