Trophy Walleye fishing on Saganaga Lake, OntarioSaganaga Lake has always been known for it's Walleye, a fast growing species with good reproduction rates and a healthy population, so it's no wonder that those who fish Sag have great stories to tell, whether it's quantity or quality that they brag about.   Sag Lake is also home to Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Whitefish, and some of the best Lake Trout fishing in the area.  Efforts toward conservation have been successful, and thanks to catch and release, there is no shortage of trophy fish, as well as the smaller "eaters". We realize that the thrill of catcthing a a trophy fish may be a once in a lifetime experience, and while we're always encouraged to see our guests have a good time no matter what type of recreation they choose, the bottom line for us is fishing, and in that regard, we feel that Saganaga Lake speaks for itself.
