Seems like there are quite a few people who are interested in having a PCB designed for free. We'll see how this turns out. Oscilloscope posted Dec 28, 2010, 8:38 PM by Bill Bai (From rigolna.com)I got a shiny new Rigol DS1052E oscilloscope, yay! An oscilloscope is definitely one of those tools that you just need to have as an electrical engineer. A lot of the time you won't need it, but when it's 3am before a big project is a due, it's nice to have access to one rather than needing to go to the lab in school to use one. I got mine from tequipment.com for $379.05 delivered ($399-5%). Delivery was ridiculously quick (free ground and got it the next day, but it was from NJ to MA). This is basically the best bang for buck oscilloscope on the market right now. I had originally wanted to get the $15 more expensive Instek GDS 1062A, which has slightly better specs, but it was backordered for over a month, so I just switch over to the DS1052E. The DS1052E comes very highly recommended by Dave Jones at theEEVBlog, which definitely played a large part in my decision.I figured I really should get and oscilloscope because it's a tool that will be useful for a long time. Plus, it's one of the few pieces of equipment that would be absolutely impossible for me to build on my own, as compared to a function generator, or a power supply or whatnot New Multimeter posted Apr 7, 2010, 7:15 PM by Bill Bai (extech.com)So my old crappy $10 multimeter from Futurlec died on me.
