BS 60-4s: Four-stroke rammers deliver outstanding performance
Add   Wacker Neuson's exclusive WM 100 4-stroke engine to the preferred   vibratory rammer design in the industry and you have a winning   combination. The WM 100 engine is specifically designed for rugged   rammer applications. These 4-stroke vibratory rammers are designed for   the compaction of cohesive, mixed and granular soils in confined areas.
These types of rammers are commonly called "trench rammers", "tamper rammers", "tamping rammers", "vibrotampers" or  "vibro-tampers" regardless of the manufacturer: Wacker Neuson, Belle, Ammann, Bomag, Fairport,  Warsop Matrix or Dynapac for example.
