Our roots as an insurance agency in the Central Valley go back to the late 1800’s where most of our time was spent protecting and insuring family farms and agribusiness. As a founder of Giddings, Corby, Hynes and Lyng; Richard Lyng was a champion for the farming industry. Our years of service to the farmers and ranchers we insured were well aligned with his passion for agriculture – and a great way to serve our rural community. Later Richard was appointed Director of the California State of Agriculture; and then became the 22nd Secretary of Agriculture for the U.S.
