Upcoming Events Cloud Factory in the Mix || Ministers of funk Inspirational Propaganda Cloud Factory Archives Cloud Factory Design Collective Comment/Questionnaire Form Welcome to the Cloud Factory. The Cloud Factory is a collective of friends and family based on the West Coast of North America. Members of our collective live as far south as San Diego and as far north as Alaska (including Vancouver and the interior of Canada). Our common link is music and electronic arts, but we also appreciate each other as individuals, friends, lovers and freaks. We come together on a regular basis to put on special events, related to electronic arts, in a variety of indoor and outdoor venues around Northern California and Oregon. Our goals are simple: we encourage everyone at our events to uphold certain ideals that reflect both inner and outer peace, respect, unity, and love. We foster and promote each individual's contribution whether it be as a DJ, lighting artist, visual designer, organizer, or even dancer, and encourage everyone's participation. We are spreading a message of tolerance and diversity in a society that promotes intolerance and conformity, we create community in a society that promotes individuality, we further connection in a society that seeks alienation. In order to achieve these goals, our events are typically small, where we can effect people on an individual basis, rather than as a mass audience. We work as a collective, making consensus decisions when needed, and generally listening to everyone in the group. Through unconditional love and support, we encourage our friends to follow through on their ideas. Aside from throwing kick-ass events and having fun together, another of our ambitious goals is to encourage those people outside of our group, particularly younger people, to play an active role in the environment and community in which they live, especially in the arena of electronic arts. We would like to see more people becoming conscious and aware of their surroundings, in a balanced and peaceful mind set. If you would like to become involved with the Cloud Factory, or just be kept up to date with our events, please drop us an email and we'll put you on our announcement mailing list. If you are interested in becoming actively involved in our collective we encourage you to attend one of our events and meet some of the crew.
