Welcome to Commonwealth Primary Care
Commonwealth Primary Care is a physician practice that provides medical services to patients at nine offices throughout the Richmond area. Originally known as six separate practices – Family Physicians, Henrico Internists, Huguenot Primary Care, Richmond Primary Care, Sommerville Family Practice and Virginia Family Physicians – our doctors joined together with the common vision of a privately owned Primary Care group to care for the wellness of individuals and families in the most comprehensive, efficient and convenient way possible.
Requests for Over the Counter Medicine Prescriptions
Effective January 1, 2011, the Federal Government requires that patients have a prescription for over the counter (OTC) medicines and medical supplies in order to receive reimbursement through a tax free HSA, FSA, or HRA.
A Patient requesting prescriptions for OTC medications and/ or supplies should make a
