Take It For Granite Farm
Bed and Breakfast, an 1840's  farmhouse, is located on ten acres of terraced gardens in
the Dartmouth-Sunapee Region of New Hampshire.  Five miles from  New
London and 20  minutes from Lake Sunapee,  this  area is known
for its scenic beauty, cultural events, and recreational opportunities.
Four suites are available to guests, each
with its own bath and special amenities and each privately separated from the
others.  The cottage-like Studio Suite, attached to the barn and a short
walk down a path to the farmhouse, offers added privacy and the special
convenience of an efficiency kitchen along with a fireplace, cathedral ceiling,
and a spacious bathroom framed with old barn beams.  This suite is often
reserved as a honeymoon cottage, family getaway spot, anniversary gift or
lodging for an extended stay.  All three suites in the main farmhouse offer
air conditioning, a library and VCR movie
collection, access to cozy sitting areas inside and garden seating outside. New this year is our wireless network for 
those wishing to stay connected to home and office.
In the Summer and Fall months, the gardens
and grounds of the farm allow for leisurely sitting and strolling as well as
scenic sites for family photos.  The grounds also make an ideal location
for weddings, receptions, and family reunions, all of which are scheduled
throughout the seasons.

up to the fire or sledding and cross country skiing are the activities of choice
on the property. Take It For Granite Farm is
conveniently located near Mt Sunapee and Ragged Mountain downhill ski resorts as
well as several nearby cross country skiing venues.
In the morning, guests are welcomed to a
breakfast of homemade breads or muffins, French toast or pancakes,  as well
as fresh, seasonal fruits.  Afterwards discover the splendors of the
Dartmouth-Sunapee Region.   New London, only ten minutes away, is the
home of Colby Sawyer College, The Barn Playhouse, The Fells, Lake Sunapee, and
many fine restaurants and shops.  Concerts on the town green are scheduled
every Friday night in the summer months.  And Take It For
Granite Farm is centrally located for easy day trips to the Maine and New
Hampshire coasts, the White Mountains, and the quaint villages and farms of
Vermont.  Indeed, even Montreal is only 3 and 1/2 hours away by car.
Only two hours drive from Boston and one
hour drive from the Manchester, NH airport, people have been attracted to this
