One of the towns that should be on your list is Kiama. The town is located at south Illawarra, Wollongong. It is well known for a rural scenery and spectacular coastline. It boasts rich heritage wherein quarrying and dairy farming are still practiced in the town.Some of the wonderful attractions to see in Kiama include: Blow house- This is a great place that you must see in Australia as it is known to be the largest blowhole in the world. It is recommended that you plan the tour at high tide when the sea is running from SE. This will allow you to see the blowhole as it sprays water majestically into the air. It features an incredible viewing platform that has disabled access where you can get a great view of the hole. It was discovered by George Bass in 1797 when he anchored a whale boat over the place. The sight attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world every year. It can be accessed any time and is floodlit until 1 am every morning.The Lighthouse is an incredible building to consider while in Australia. It was established in 1887; located close to the blowhole and originally used as oil burner. It was later upgraded to gas/coal until converted to mains electricity (240v) in 1969 when the light was even more needed. Finally in 1920’s, the light was automated.  The light structure is absolutely artistic that anyone will get amazed to discover.Post Office is another extraordinary attraction that you should not miss to see. It is a Victorian Classical Revival structure whose construction was completed in 1878. The old office can be described as an Italianate building, located at the corner of the street. It features a tall square clock tower, colonnades and is painted pink, something which will definitely catch your attention. The ground, where it was constructed, was previously set aside for the town hall but the plan was changed and the post office was constructed.There is also a wide variety of activities to take part and have a good time such as beach swimming, fishing, camping, hiking; boating, golfing and going to the recreational park including leisure centers which has an incredible fitness center and many others.
