His father, Dave, owned the legendary Motor Town in Royal Oak, Michigan, famous for lending antique cars to the city of Detroit for parades such as on the 4th of July. Dave wanted more for Jeff but, gasoline ran through his veins. Jeff eventually joined Carlisle Motors, the largest sales volume and highest customer satisfaction Lincoln-Mercury dealer in the nation in its era. He spent almost 10 years there beginning in 1987 and eventually ran its new and used car sales departments. He then accepted the general sales manager’s position at Dimmitt Cadillac-Land Rover. Using lessons from his father and the systems borrowed from the Carlisle family he built the Dimmitt’s Cadillac franchise to one of the highest-selling dealerships in the nation, again leading the nation in customer satisfaction. Later after obtaining Rolls-Royce & Bentley brands, Jeff led those to the number one CPO position in the country and top ten in the world.
