I made a few bad choices though that cost me progress for sure. My goal is to drop 10 lbs a month though, for my 299 late June wedding and hopefully a 270 weight by DragonCon; so I am still on target for that. Has been hard making myself go to the gym. I think I’m going to compensate tonight with a walk (and Zilla loves walks!) Made some POOOOOOR choices on Saturday and got a stromboli and cheese fries. My weight paid for it but I’m about back to where I was. Lesson learned. MyFitnessPal has been great, logging my calories keeps me very aware of how much I’m eating. That is all. Jan 5, 2015 - Uncategorized 1 Comment Exercise Plan I’ve decided that this is going to be my exercise plan for the first few months: For the first month, I’m going to do 45 minutes of cardio a day. This will allow me to get back some heart and lung health so I’m not completely out of breath doing other things; plus the gyms will be super busy so I’ll be able to avoid dealing with crowded weights. After the first months, I’ll likely do 30 minutes of cardio, then some weights. For the weights, I’m going to use the power pyramid (Scan) with the following exercises: Monday: Bench Press Tuesday: Squats Wednesday: Military Press Thursday: Dead-lifts Friday: Bench Press Saturday/Sunday: No weights, maybe some extra cardio Jan 5, 2015 - Uncategorized 1 Comment Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose Well here we are again. 2 Years ago, I made a commitment to drop weight for Alex’s wedding. I went from 420 down to 285, and it was great. Then, I met Lyndsay and got lazy and happy. While this has been great for my emotional life, my physical health has taken a toll. When I weighed myself after DragonCon, I made a fitness wager with Bart; to see who could lose the highest % weight before the next DragonCon. I weighed 358 or so when I left there. I was still 358.7 when I weighed myself this morning. In addition to the above wager, I’ve found out that there is yet another wedding to attend this October. Since it lines up pretty well with DragonCon, and for my overall health/happiness/wallet, I’ve decided it’s time to resume the weight loss! I’ll be posting updates here every once in a while, however I will be logging all of my Food and Exercise in My Fitness Pal. You can see links to my Food and Exerc
