• Wright County Board of Supervisors to meet Monday morning.  The Wright County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday morning in the supervisors room of the county courthouse in Clarion. The board will review and discuss a tabled item from the November 7th meeting on offering the loan to Nu Treatments,LLC. The board will set a date for a public hearing on designation of the expanded 2016 Wright County Agribusiness Urban Renewal Area and on the Urban Renewal Plan Amendment. There will be a meeting with Angela Wesselink concering the conflict of interest policy for the board of supervisors concerning the Parent Connections program and approve the updated standards plus other matters. • Webster City woman stabbed in early morning incident.  The Webster City Police Department responded to a report of a person being stabbed near 632 Webster Street at 5:16 this morning. 43 year old Ana Puente-Gomez was transported to Van Diest Medical Center and later to a trauma center for treatment of multiple stab wounds. Webster City Police officers located 64 year old Jermias Lopez Barrera near the scene of the stabbing. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and charged with Attempted Murder,a Class B Felony. Lopez Barrera was also charged with Willlful Injury for causing an injury to 21 year old Ivan Puente Gomez who had intervened in this attack to protect Ana Puente Gomez. Willful Injury is a Class C Felony. Ana Puente Gomez and Jeremias Lopez-Barrera are acquaintances. The knife used in the attack was found and collected for evidence. Ana Puente-Gomez's current medical condition is not known as of early this afternoon. Ivan Puente Gomez did not require medical treatment for his injury • Webster City Hotel Motel Tax Grant board to hear from eight organizations requesting funding December 6.  The Webster City Hotel Motel Tax Board late Tuesday afternoon reviewed the requests from eight Webster City organizations requesting funding for their different projects through hotel motel funds. The eight organizations include ACE Community Center/All Cultures Equal requesting $23,900 for the grand opening of the ACE Community Center. American Legion Post request funding for the Avenue of Flags Storage Facilty at Graceland Cemetery. There was no set amount requested from the Legion for their project however the cost could be between 35 to 45 thousand dollars.. Arts R Alive is requesting $3,600 for the Web
