Abel Design Group, Ltd. Completes Acquisition of Ken R. Harry Associates
On December 14, 2015, Abel Design Group, Ltd., completed the acquisition of the prestigious architecture firm of Ken R. Harry Associates (KRHA). Ken R. Harry and his team have transitioned to the offices of Abel Design Group (ADG), where they will continue to serve existing and new clients as part of the Ken R. Harry Studio.
Over the past decade, ADG has become a significant force in the architecture and interior design industry, with average annual growth of 40% over the past five years. The addition of Ken Harry as the firm’s fifth principal will enable ADG to further extend its role in the industry, expanding and diversifying its client base.
“Ken and I have known each other for years, and I have always respected and admired his work,” remarked Jeffrey Abel, founder and managing principal of ADG. “While our design aesthetic varies, we share the same goals of providing premier service to our clients, and addressing their needs with skillful design solutions. Ken has an enormous depth of knowledge in both business and design, after running his own firm for 43 years. Combining this with the immense talent of our existing design principals, Dare Lovett and Simona Furini, bolsters our ability to serve our clients, especially those in the law and energy sectors.”
