If you are considering group taekwondo, karate or kickboxing Surrey classes, why not discover the power of learning explosive, effective martial arts in one-on-one private lessons.
Even though we specialize in one on one martial arts instruction,the Academy is very competitively priced compared to other martial arts schools’ group only lessons.
The ONLY professional martial arts school in BC specializing in one on one instruction, since 1980. Each student receives 4 one – hour  private lessons and 8 group lessons each month.  Students can also practice on their own every day during business hours. Private lessons assure an exceptional quality of instruction and allow each individual to learn at his/her own speed of comprehension.
You will build power, strength, agility, and fighting skills five times faster than any group classes.
It is proven that one year of training martial arts at the Academy is equivalent to 5 years of training at any other martial arts school that teaches group lessons. Therefore, training at the Shaolin Kung-Fu Academy translates to a substantial savings in time and money for each student.

Why is the Academy a better school to study martial arts than other schools?The Shaolin Kung-Fu Academy is the only martial arts school in British Columbia that specializes in one on one instruction. It means that every student can learn at his/her own speed of comprehension, which cannot be accomplished in a group environment. We simply have a better teaching method that optimizes every student’s ability.
What do we do differently at our martial arts school that allows us to do this?All martial arts schools teach in a group setting — it means that there are 30 students or more to one instructor, so for example, if you divide 60 min by 30 students you get 2 minutes per person! What can one learn in 2 minutes? Well, not much…. Here at the Academy, every student receives a 60 minute lesson, one on one training with the instructor, every week —- a world of difference!
