Village Roadshow Studios in Paradise
Village Roadshow Studios are situated forty five minutes  drive south of  Brisbane International Airport  and twenty minutes from Queensland's  famous Gold Coast -  one of the fastest growing and most exciting and thriving areas in Australia and holiday destination to  millions of  visitors  every year.
Situated adjacent to the Warner Bros.  Movie World Theme Park, the Studios offer truly world class film production  facilities comprising eight sound stages, three water tanks, ten production  offices, editing suites, wardrobe, makeup, construction, paint and carpentry  shops.
All sound stages are equipped with current  industry standard facilities including air conditioning, extraction fans, steel  grids and catwalks.  The Stages vary in  size with an overall floor area of 10,844m2 (116,727 sq ft) confirming Village  Roadshow Studios as one of the largest studio lots in the Southern Hemisphere.
Village Roadshow Studios boasts the largest  purpose built film water tank in Australia. This Main Outdoor Tank with a surface area of 1,200m2  (12,915 sq ft),  holds six million litres of water and has state  of the art filtration and heating systems that allows the tank water to be  heated to 32 degrees Celsius (89 degrees F).
The Studios provide a comprehensive support  network of experienced film service companies conveniently located on the  lot.  These companies are available to  provide valuable expertise, experience and equipment for your production  including production services, casting, camera and lighting, rigging, special  effects, travel/freight, film processing, visual effects and post production  facilities.
Film producing in Queensland  at the Studios can be extremely  cost effective.  Below  the line expenditure is effectively reduced in comparison with an LA based US  Dollar budget.  The savings are achieved  by scale of economics in crew size, lower labour and equipment rental rates, a  favourable exchange rate to the US Dollar and importantly both Federal and  State Government incentives and rebates.
