Hi, Everyone–
The holidays were hectic for us this year, but we skidded into Christmas morning with everything important done.  Whether or not you celebrate, I hope you enjoyed the season. As we look toward the New Year, I’m figuring out how to approach various projects.  One of the big ones, as always, is purging the TBR pile.  I’m going to try “Read 3 Before Buying 1” and see if that helps!
I recently purged my newsletter list because of the EU GDPR regulations. If you forgot to resubscribe or want to subscribe for the first time, you can do so via the box at right.
In book news, I’m delighted to announce that the next Light Mages book, Nemesis, is out. Because my parents met while they were both serving in the navy, as Carter and Tasha did, this is a special book for me. I’m excited to have this story go out into the world at last. It is not, however, my parents’ story. Their experiences in the navy were different, and their path to romance was much, much smoother.

The next Outcast Station installment, Christmas on Outcast Station, is also available. It’s a two-novella anthology, including one from me and one from my Outcast Station co-creator, Jeanne Adams.
This is science fiction/space opera, not romance. Located on the far fringe of human space, Outcast Station is where careers go to die.
As the Christmas season rolls along, Chief Station Marshal Brad Carruthers and Deputy Marshal Hank Tremaine have no time to celebrate. Brad has to protect a reluctant princess who’s in danger from warring factions on her home planet. She isn’t making it easy. Hank has to find the killer of one of the scorpioid Drachans and recover a priceless religious artifact. The Drachans aren’t inclined to be patient, and diplomatic tensions are rising. Hank and his team must find the killer and recover the artifact before interstellar war breaks out.
