I am responsible for helping the company "take ownership" of an application acquired via purchase.My duties include:stabilizing the applicationestablishing development environments using virtual machinesdefining and implementing change control proceduresidentifying and resolving architectural flawsrecommending enhancements to improve overall product quality and securityetc...I will absolutely consider a full-time architect, director or management position with potential for long term growth.Here are some of my recent projects:Implemenation of a PCI compliance Credit Card Risk Analysis application on an IBM Power 520 (AS/400,iSeries)I received a bare metal IBM Power 520, installed i5/OS, requisite licensed programs, and a proprietaryrisk analysis application ported from another running system as no "installation media" was availablefor the app. My duties included base installation as well as system configuration and hardening fordeployment into a PCI compliant environment.PCI Authorized Scanning Vendor Core Services ApplicationI created a "PCI Authorized Scanning Vendor (ASV)" application. This application enables Internet merchants to fulfill PCI Level 4 Compliance Obligations. It provides quarterly vulnerability scanning, remediation, and reporting services.PCI Compliance Consulting and RemediationI provided vulnerability assessment and remediation services to a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1 Service Provider.My service included hardening Microsoft Windows, FreeBSD, IBM iSeries, and Linux systems via upgrades, patches, andbest-practice configuration. The Service Provider subsequently passed their PCI audit and is listed in Visa'sCISP List of Compliant Service Providers.Valuelink Gift Card ImplementationI wrote an application to generate the necessary keys for integration of Valuelink gift cards intoan ecommerce application. I wrote the code on a Windows system using Microsoft Visual C++ and linked to openssl'scrypto library.Merchant Account PortalI architected and coded a multi-tier application to provide 150,000+ merchants online access to their credit card processing activity and management reports. The system included automated parsing and processing of multiple First Data Resources (FDR) reports,encryption of credit card numbers, loading into a Relational Database (MS SQL Server), and presentation of the data viaan ASP.NET Web Application. All tiers are physically separate and redundant. The Automated Data Acquisition Tier was implemented on FreeBSDhosts with openssl encryption libraries to RSA encrypt and SHA-256 hash sensitive data. The Data Storage Tier was implemented on Microsoft Windows Servers running MS SQL Server 2005. The Decryption Services, Data Retrieval and Business Logic tiers were implemented on Windows Server as Remotable Windows Services. The Presentation Layer is an ASP.NET 2.0 Web
