    For those who have spent experienced working on the industry of call centers, probably, you might  have that mentality resolving a customer’s query/problem on the 1st try or first call resolution isn’t usually the first thing in your mind. Rather, the main focus is on making the client pleased with your services, but what is the most efficient wat to make a client happy than fixing their problem on the very 1st first try?
    Coming from a managerial standpoint, First Call Resolution defined is a percentage determined by dividing the quantity of customers in whose call was solved on the 1st try by the total number of clients that called. From the viewpoint of a customer service representative, to make the ideal effort at improving the first contact resolution they’ll have to try and take care of everything they receive on the very first try.
    There’s one more measurement that’s comparable to first call resolution and that’s “one and done”. One and done is a new metric since the very first sources I can get that uses it dates back from 1996. One and done is another percentage which is always lower than or equal to the percentage of first call resolution.
    First call resolution gives you a great breakdown of the performance of call centers when it comes to first call resolution, one and done can offer you a clear indication how much money could be saved by enhancing the effectiveness of first call resolution . In the event you enhance such kinds of metrics, you’ll usually enhance the other.
