I will cover the long way in another article.For those who have AD’S MANAGER – click on it to start our niche search.Next click on AUDIENCE INSIGHTS (if you don’t see it, go and change your settings to ENGLISH – US)At the moment this facility is only focused on the United States market in terms of household and purchasing information, but the information is very usual regardless of what country you are promoting to.Once you open up AUDIENCE INSIGHTS you will be asked to choose and audience – choose EVERYONE on Facebook.Once it opens you will see the audience size for the United States (you can change it by the country you want to advertise to). You will see the demographics of the people on Facebook such as there are more women on Facebook in the U.S than men and the highest audience are the 25 – 35 year olds. And the information goes on and on.For the purpose of this article we are looking for cat lovers – so in the INTEREST box, if you type in ‘cats’ – you will see that you will see that 79% of women on Facebook love cats so this is the start of finding your niche. But we want to be more specific than that so type in ‘I love cats’ a list of suggestions will come up so choose one appropriate for you. So now that stat’s say 98% of women love cats and the age groups and your main group are women between 35 – 55 years.We have looked at the demographics, no click on the Page Likes and a like of the top 10 categories have a list of pages that people who love cat’s also love these pages.Right here is another awesome hint for you to know where EXACTLY you should be marketing to. It says in number 1 spot the category is Retail and Consumer Merchandise and the only page listed here is ‘Mad About Cats’If you scroll further down you will see -Page Likes – Facebook Pages that are likely to be relevant to your audience based on Facebook Page likes. These are to top 10 pages specifically for your cat niche. If you place your mouse over the Affinity number it will give you a break down of the size of your market on that particular page and the likelihood that this audience will have an affinity with your product.There is definitely a lot of information to take in so take your time and go through the lot, also make a list of these page
