Richard Seaver Managing Director
Richard was appointed as the Managing Director on 1st October 2011. He is a Fellow of ICAEW (Institute of Chartered accountants in England and Wales) and has held a number of senior appointments in leadership roles in the UK and Africa. These include his 12 years in Nigeria as the Managing Director of DHL the market leader in Express Logistics.

Our Values and Mission
The company that has become Whassan Nigeria Limited (WENL) was founded in 1982, operating as a wholly-owned Nigerian Company to provide Food and Support services for major companies in the Oil & Gas and Manufacturing Sectors in Nigeria.
In 2003, and in order to be able to access global opportunities in the Oil & Gas Sector, it entered into a joint venture with UK-based Compass Group, the worlds` largest “hospitality” business, operating under the ESS brand.
In October 2011, and in response to the Local Content Law of The Federal Government of Nigeria, WENL was re-acquired by the original Nigerian owners as a local company, but now imbued with world-class standards.
 
Our vision is to deliver peace of mind to our clients by safely and profitably providing Catering and other Support Services that are peripheral to their main activities, thereby allowing them to focus on their core competences. 
We achieve this by providing our clients with a full complement of support services and Facilities Management including Catering, Housekeeping, Building & Operations Maintenance, Business & Office Services, Outdoor Grounds Maintenance, and Project Management.
In Catering and Facilities Management, we have set ourselves high standards by continuously reviewing our performance and introducing great initiatives and by continuous training that keep us firmly on top of our business.
Our carefully selected employees are experts in their fields, and they painstakingly and purposefully provide our clients with the highest standard of service performance in the industry.
