Everything was very fresh.  I especiallyenjoyed the  tempura, but for those really into hard core sushi,there were no complaints from my table. They try to rush you in and out and do not giveyou time to enjoy your food. I've tried most of the sushi bars in Dallas, and this quaint, unpretentiousvenue remains my favorite.  The devil roll and Californiaroll are both must haves.  The chef will also prepare somethingspecial if you ask.  I always let him surprise me, and I've never been disappointed. The quality of service is great & the food more so.  I tried many sushi restaurants listed in the dining guides and I've always ended up back at Sushi on McKinney.  For those of you who wish to venture to alternate sushi restaurants because of a higherrating per the dining guides - I say don't do it - you're wasting your time when the best is right here!  But, of course, one will do
