Mission StatmentTo educate youth, families, and citizens on the dangers of drugs with a focus on methamphetamine and develop a county mindset of zero tolerance for chemical use.
MEADA consists of a board who awards grants or funding for projects or programs that encompass a proactive, educational drug awareness effort.
The program eligibility consists of a proactive approach to drug awareness education and addresses a need in the school or community.   
Grant WinnersIn 2015 MEADA served over 7,800 community members and youth through 7 grants totaling $3,500.  
2016 = 1st quarter approved grants:
-Buffalo middle school drug prevention week
-Buffalo high school drug test kits
-STMA role model life size posters
-Safe Community of Wright County - mock crashes
-Maple Lake safe prom week activities
2015 = 4th quarter approved grants:
-Buffalo High School CD Counselor
-Delano
-Howard Lake/Waverly/Winsted
2015= 3rd quarter approved grants:

-DARE of Wright County
