His wife, Karen, is also a United Methodist pastor, at Montmorenci UMC. Michael is a very tall, down to earth, mountain guy and is crazy in love with the Lord! You’ll feel right at home here at Francis Asbury with Michael in the Pulpit. 
Dora Brown, RN, Faith Community NurseThroughout scripture, God calls people of faith to healing. At Francis Asbury UMC we believe that caring for self and others is an expression of God’s love and should be shared through outreach ministry in our congregation and greater community. We are blessed and honored to have Dora Brown, BS, RN as our Faith Community Nurse.
Danya Sellers, AdministratorDanya is our Administrator.  She also helps lead our weekly community meal at the Hominy Valley Welcome Table, leads our FROG Adult Sunday School, along with numerous other volunteer positions. Danya lives in Candler, NC with her husband, Allen. They have 2 grown children, Tyler & Kaylee. Tyler is a US Coast Guardsman stationed in New York. Kaylee is a film graduate from WCU.
