I’m Home!
So I’m back from Europe and what do I come home too? Rain!
Europe was fantastic and I highly recommend that if you have the opportunity to go, that you do not pass it up! I had a great time taking the train from country to country, basically not knowing where I would end up at the end of each day but just having fun, meeting people and figuring things out as I went along. I ate so much cheese and bread in France, sausages in Germany and far too much chocolate in Belgium but you know what: trip of a life time so who cares? Not me!
As for my welcoming party when I returned home, Mellow went nuts! He is an older dog now so when he flips out, it is more like a slow version of the chicken dance but when he wants to show how happy he is, he can get up and go! He jumped up on me and licked my face, wagging his tail and knocking over a coffee cup that was on my friend’s table!
I have been home for seven days now and am back into routine. I took an extra week off work and will be going back on Monday and have spent the last week catching up on sleep and chilling with the big guy.

Off to Europe!
Sorry I have not updated in a while but work has been very busy for me and to make matters worse, or better depending on how you look at it, I won a free trip! Yup I was the winner of a door prize at a charity event I recently covered for work and will be jetting off to Europe for three weeks in November!
As for Mellow, he will be staying with my best friend Lucy when I am away and I have no doubts leaving him with her as she is a great person and a big fan of the Mellow monster. I will be packing up three weeks worth of food for the big man and on Nov. 3rd, will be flying first class across the pond, all the way to London. I will be staying in London for three days, then hopping a plane to France and then from there I’ll be taking the train from country to country, stopping in each for a few days. I am super excited as I have never really done a lot of travelling, up until now of course!

What Do I Do?
So in my last post I introduced you to Mellow, my room mate and best bud. For this post I thought I would give you a little bit of info about the type of job I have landed. Luckily for me, I am one of those fortunate people who was able to land a job in the field that they graduated college in, which means that I actually enjoy my work!
I work for a small sports magazine that covers all amateur sport in the Boston area. I have the opportunity to attend sporting events and write up stories on them; and because of this I get to take in a lot of sporting events ranging from school volleyball games, to football slobber knockers! Football is by far and away my favorite game to watch, maybe partially because I have three brothers w
