Message from the Executive Chairman/Managing Director - Ranil De Silva
2017 marks the 50th anniversary of SDM Kandy. For half a century, SDM Kandy has worked diligently to develop and retain our leadership role as a trusted partner for all your accounting and taxation needs, helping our clients of all sizes and types enhance their businesses and professional services.
SDM Kandy roots date back to 16th June 1967, and our history is well documented in the later part of this booklet. Under the superior leadership of my late father Mr. Gamini R De Silva who first started at SDM Kandy as an audit trainee way back in 1973 and stayed with SDM Kandy as the only employment of his life, till he passed away on 30th November 2008 by which time he was the Managing Partner of the firm.
